I survived the wedding!

The wedding was great even though it rained all day long! I'm glad we didn't try an outdoor wedding. It was a very long day though & I still haven't recovered. The only thing I did today was take "stray" kitty to the low cost clinic at a pet store & found out she does not have feline leukemia so that's good news. She's still in the garage but I'm thinking I will try to move her into the spare bedroom now that I know she's ok. I'm not admitting she's mine yet....I wish I could find a home for her cause I really did have my eye on a male diabetic that needs a home.

I haven't updated Thumper's SS but she's really been about the same. I ended up shooting 1 hr early yesterday morning & 2 hrs early last night so we were 3 hrs off our regular time this morning. I made up some time this AM & PM and at this point I will go back to regular time tomorrow AM. I know it's not the way I'm supposed to move shots but nothing I could really do about it so SS will probably seem a little wacky. I'm not basing anything on this weekends #'s. Hopefully I will be back to normal tomorrow, whatever that is. :smile: My house is a wreck still....flowers, etc all over the place & I have no energy to clean it up!

Glad the wedding went well. Too bad your daughter didn't get married in Cincinnati b/c we had a gorgeous fall day on Saturday with crappy weather on Sunday.

Sounds like Nuvyle is working her way inside. :lol:
 
Glad the new Kitty is settling in.....she will always be special-- she will remind you of your daughter's wedding! :lol:

Or in California! we are having a heat wave and it is gorgeous now! Glad everything went well.

I thought we were going to call the "stray" Kim? ..... yes, that seems right to me the vote was close but the name Kim won over Nuvyle ..... :roll:

Welcome back Barbara! Glad all went well for you with the wedding and such. Also very glad your new kitty :shock: is healthy and gonna come indoors soon :cool:

DH has been calling the "stray" Priscilla or Petunia...she actually looked at him today when he said Petunia. For some reason he used to call our dog Petunia, who knows. I brought Petey & Josie out to the patio to meet her today & they hated her. I have only seen Petey hiss a couple of times in his life, I can't say that anymore. He was awful! He looked so evil I was a little surprised, but then he ran from her! :lol: This afternoon I locked her in the bathroom, the others all ran off & hid cause they heard her crying. She stopped after a while but I moved her back to the garage. I'm not prepared to bring her in yet. I need to do some cleaning out in the spare room. I know she needs a home but I'm not that excited about her. I keep thinking of the other one I had my eye on. She's a sweet little thing though, full of purrs & she comes running to you when you call. :YMSIGH:
 
Petunia???? :lol: I am surprised she isn't hissing! I mean if you are going to name her after a flower...wouldn't Rose or something be better?
 
Actually, the other day when we started discussing names, I was thinking .... Thumper.... new kitty is black.... maybe "Flower" and keep with the Bambi theme! But Petunia? Wasn't that porky pig's girlfriend's name?
