I posted some time ago looking for help, you all seemed to be looking at the same things I was, fiber. I went looking online, and some new ideas have popped up. This was not assured for diabetis related, however, I started my little girl on it and it's working.
Hairball formulas. I found so many I've never seen before on Amazon. They say they need the oil to move things down the colon.
I bought a tube one and a pill type. My girls is so picky about what she eats, I got one of each, knowing that if the pill type didn't work, she could have the tube on put on her paw. SHE LOVE THEM BOTH. Thinks they are treats and gobbles them up. Twice a day she gets something. The pill isn't for swollowing, you break it up and they will chew and swollow. It's easily broken up, made just to do that. I bought Cat Lax, that was the tube, and Vet's Best Hairball relief pills.
Her poops have slowely started getting better and better, still not perfect, but better today then yesterday.
