I used the Vetericyn when I first started out with testing Michelangelo (now I don't use anything except a bit of paper towel to apply pressure and soak up the excess blood). For whatever reason, the neosporin really bothered Mikey and he would be cleaning his ears and rubbing them and twitching them for hours after each test. A couple of days into testing, I went to my local pet store (where they're more educated on nutrition than my own vet) and asked them if they had a "pet version" of neosporin and they introduced me to the Vetericyn. It worked like a charm and I've even used it on my own cuts and scrapes with amazing results.
