Couple of questions -

How much fortiflora do you put in or on the food?

Are there any vids showing how to give Bupe? How do I know I'm getting it in the right place?


Never had the opportunity to use these before.
 
I mentioned that a pinch or two of FortiFlora should do the trick. You're using it for the aroma not the probiotic properties.

Bupe, if you're giving it orally, goes into the cheek pocket or under the tongue. You want it to be absorbed by the oral mucosa vs. swallowed.
 
Sometimes we have to "liberally" sprinkle the fortiflora on Zener's food. We have quite a lot of it and use it after the expiration date because we are using it for flavor mostly. We keep the fresh stuff when we need it for the probiotic properties.
 
Don't know on the fortiflora but looks like others have answered.

On the bupe, if orally, I just pull it up in the needle less syringe, put it under his upper lip flap about halfway between his incisors and molars and squeeze it slowly up against his the fleshy part of his inner cheek area. If it does go down Bob's mouth, it won't hurt him. It will just taste bad and will take longer to absorb. If you are giving it subq, just give it in the scruff but you'll need to give it in a different location than the insulin and the squids (if he still needs it by Tuesday when you get the insulin).
 
I go thru a whole packet each time I use the flortiflora....(1-2 x per day) it hasn't affected mine ....everything is always normal at the other end....
