hi everyone,
I have been reading so many posts lately of the many frustrated momma's that so desperately
want to get their babies well again.
I know how crazy this can make you cause I was so there just 6 months ago with Shakes
I cried, didnt eat or sleep and just worried constantly about him....sound familiar??
But I realized today that the journey that so many of the newbies are on now, I was only a short time ago.
I thought about it today and realized that it took 3 insulins and 6 months on PZI to get Shakes "almost' regulated.
Please remember as Saint Sue says...this is a marathon, not a sprint.
It could take many months to get those preshot down into the regulated numbers...
as they say for some...slow and steady won the race...
for some of us...that is going to be our story....
then there are others like Carl that we can secretly hold a grudge as Bob was on oand off in a couple of months...
not fair you ask....hell no it is not, but that is why we are all here..to help each other through this...
as if it was not for all of you..I think I might have gone stark raving mad!!!
Hang in there!
Denise and Shakes

I so agree!

Hang in there everyone....we are doing the best we can!

Denise, A real good word, thanks....I had pulled back a little because of my own frustrations, but now I am seeing some improvement in Hannah Glory.................have a great day. Priscillalea and Hannah Glory..............Used to live in N.J.

Priscillalea..I am sorry I am not sure that I remember you
Please come by and visit often
Where is Jersey and where are you now?

I'm usually on the Lantus board, we have not been in contact before, I'm new and sort of went exploring..........I lived in Lake Panorama in Vernon township, northwest corner of the state. I live in Barefoot Bay, Fl. now. I have 13 yr old Hannah Glory on Lantus, diabetic for 3 years now and found the FDMB while trying to do research on her diabetes. I am pretty much computer illiterate, still have dial-up so this has been a massive learning esperience in many ways for me................I am a nurse but totally unprepared for what diabetes is like in a cat................Hannah Glory had a severe hypo incident about a year ago, went to 38, had a seizure, wet blind and into a coma........after much emergency care she recovered, so I am very paranoid if her numbers go green, nearly had anothe incident a few weeks ago, so blue is fine with me...........I have learned alot since finding this site, but still get frustrated.anyway good talking to you.Priscilla and Hannah Glory

Welcome to the site,
stop by and visit whenever you want
sometimes it is just nice to come here for moral support
instead of advice, especially when you are feeling overwhelmed!
(by the way, I am in Ringwood NJ)
