The bottle does not look like it is broken, but there is foam on the inside of the bottle. I do not if this is safe to give shot. I also posted on pro zinc site.

If you have an empty pill bottle, place the vial in it and stuff cotton or paper around the vial to make it fit snug inside. This will protect the vial if you drop it again.

Oh my! I feel you \, the same thing happened to me the next day after I brought Corky from the hospital, I gave him his first shot the night we got home with the help of my neighbor, the next morning I picked up the bottle from the fridge filled the syringe and when I went to place it back in the fridge it slipped out of my hand! I lost it, but everything has a solution, I was not on this Forum at the time, I wish I would've had the suggestion given here. Thank God for this Forum and members to ease our fears, the greatest thing about these post is that we get to know we are not alone, and at one point or another we all have gone thru similar situations:bighug::cat::cat:

@ CORKY, I have been wondering if something is wrong with the insulin. I upped Kit Kit's dose .25 without it making much difference. How long did it take to get Corky where he is at. I am like you I am worried about leaving and going any where. I have not been to church in 5 or 6 weeks. any advice.

If you go back to Corky’s SS from 2023 to today you will see it has been a long process, mid 2024 was when he began to really stabilize, and the fact that my lack of knowledge of FD , I did not know and I was so afraid of even the low yellows and greens that I did not know how to handle those BG number, it took quite a while to work thru the process on how to handle his cycles, do not despair it will happen today not only I can dose Corky with 85-89 BG and even leave my house and not panic, I always express to members what was told to me in this Forum, take a step back breath in and breath out, and I say, trust this Forum, I blindly follow their suggestions especially with dosing. You and KitKat will get there as well:bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

Thank you, I had a diabetic cat 1 other time. However, it was several years ago and he had chronic pancreatitis, which made for a whole different ball game. I was never able to dose Buddy with low numbers. The automatic feeder has helped some with Kit Kat.
