Some folks have had issues with meters that have True in the name. Your mileage may vary.
A lot of us use the Glucocard 01 or 01 Mini (check www.adwdiabetes.com), aka Walmart Relion Confirm or Confirm Micro, as it is inexpensive, takes a tiny blood drop, and requires no coding.
Lancets for alternate site testing (26-28 gauge) improve your odds of successfully getting a blood drop.
