I believe Tiffy is in HEAT. I JUST DON'T BELIEVE IT

hI, I THINK tiffy is in heat. Couldn't do a Nadir, Hissing and sounding off, Maybe that is what the affection is all about. My God. Taking her to vet on Monday for possible spay, When is this mogul run over? You would think at diabetic and 8 yrs of age someone would have compassion and spay her, right? Couldn't Nadir her due to all the hissing and yelping and crying. I guess that is what it is. I am going to x-ray her lungs too. She was panting and just talking and I believe it was due to all the talking and sounding. I am so worried. I gave her a teaspoon of evo with a ton of water. :sad:
 
If only 1 of the uterine horns and ovaries were removed, that could result in estrus cycles.

Are you hearing the classic yodeling of a feline in estrus? Observing foot stamping and tail switching over to 1 side?
 
Beejay, That is what I was thinking - that only one was taken out. Why would they do that? I guess take her in to get a complete spay :?:
 
I suspect they may do bloodwork to confirm hormone levels.

Cats have 2 uterine horns, rather than 1 uterus. The developing embryos are like peas in a pod - spaced out along the 2 uterine horns.

There's always a possibilty of something else not seen often, so wait to see what the vet says.
