I know I have seen others ask about this, but rather than try and pull all the data together from various threats I decided to just ask it here ....

I want to build a good hypo kit. I currently have honey in the house (usually do for my own health reasons) and rarely have corn syrup in the house (just do not have use for it usually). I have some higher carb food (Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers box bought by mistake and kept for this purpose). I have been looking at some feeding syringes (just for first aid and such) along with pill givers (never pilled a cat, kind of scared to really). I saw "bulb syringe and lube" listed, but not ENTIRELY sure what I am looking for here. When I googled I saw a few different types, wanted to know which best fits this use:

Or something more like this

Syringes are only needed if kitty won't eat on their own. For most kitties you can add a drop or two of honey/syrup onto their food. Depending on how low they are, and whether there are symptoms, the other option particularly with symptoms is to immediately rub the syrup or honey on their gums and cheeks. For kitties with severe symptoms (I.e. Seizing) where it is not safe to squirt honey into their mouths since they may choke, your only option then (hence need for lube) is to give syrup/honey rectally via syringe and get your cat to emergency.
