The above posted article was quite fascinating in regards to feline nutrition. The article also cross references diabetes and kidney disease in cats. I hope this article may assist others.
I have a non diabetic cat with severe muscle wasting. My Vet can not offer any thoughts/treatment. Serenas' thyroid labs are normal. She is on Methimazole.
So I was poking around trying to find a remedy and found the article posted above. She is already eating Dr Elseys Clean Protein Chicken, Friskies Pate, fresh cooked chicken, scrambled eggs.
