I am very close of the passing of Hurricane Milton, very likely we will lose electricity in my area, if that is the case, please understand why they may not be any data, for tomorrow, or till things normalize, May The Lord keep those families that are going to get the full force of this monster Hurricane, here in Florida we have been used to major Hurricanes, the worse that devastated Lower South Florida was Andrews, and we had a devastating aftermath; West Coast and upper Florida, keep safe, listen to what the Authorities such evacuate of necessary, material things can be replaced ,life cannot, there are many shelters that will accept our pets as well, many. May God keep all if you safe... my prayers will be with Florida...:bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat: Corky and Maria

Please make sure you have supplies for Corkey that you can easily access. And, of course, I'm hoping both of you stay safe.
Yes I've had an emergency kit in the closet with all supplies food and ice bags in the freezer for the insulin ready since middle of last year prepared in case needed, and two open crates in the closet, there a lot of elderly folks that live in this bldg., and at times the fire alarm goes off, and we need to evacuate outside till fire dept enters the building, so I got this down packed. even a shelter availability that accepts pets, just in case. I live in a very stable building with storm proof windows as well, thank you for the reminder, this storm is very scary is shifting down to us a bit. the keys already have a 9' surge:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

I just talked to my sister-in-law in West Palm Beach which, as you know, is north of you. You should be fine in Miami because Milton will pass north of you, but yes you may have some flooding and power outages. I was very concerned about the tornado that crossed I-75 today. I am praying for everyone’s safety.

You can still test Corky since your meter is battery operated. Hopefully you can keep your insulin cool but not too cold (not freezing). Hang in there and please let me know you are safe tomorrow if you can!❤️
