My cats rarely show interest in human food but right now Sketch is very interested in the ground beef I have on my plate and I just gave him a few pieces and he ate them. It was cooked without oil, just a bit of salt and some peas (the peas are separate, just cooked in the same pan). He also likes grilled chicken breast, also plain.
Is there any harm in feeding this sort of thing occasionally? I figure it is probably lower carb than the cat food he eats and I usually buy organic chicken and grass fed beef.
