How to Regulate Nadir Timing

We did a house sweep and found the reason for the spike around +6 (dog food bag torn open!) but still curious why nadir was so early?
 
You could have just put this question on your main thread. But no worries…Sorry for saying this, but you did everything correctly (well, everything was going great until the contraband dog food :woot: but it happens from time to time, especially if you have multiple pets. I hope that is the only reason why he went into the pink. Anyway, but I mean I am sorry to say that cats nadirs can and do move around at times (as I indicated this morning when we were talking about it.). The onset time of ProZinc is +2 in most cats (where you see the BG start to lower if they didn’t get too much of a “food bump” from breakfast- which LC shouldn’t do in most cats.) He nadired one day at +4 and the next was at +6. It’s not your fault. He’s a cat!

I started a new thread because I read the board don’t like for them to get real long? Anywho, I guess I will learn to let go of my strong need to “get it under control”!

we keep open dog food in a plastic tub but this was a new bag. Little devil!

Well, on this forum we try not to let the threads go over 50 posts, but it certainly doesn’t mean that we can’t start threads sooner than that. In fact, it’s probably better to start a new one sooner rather than later (less scrolling) although we do like it if you link the url from your last thread to the first post in your new thread— it makes it easier to follow what happened before.
