Hi all,
My cat Sparky has been in remission for 2 years. His number are usually in 60-70's. I tested him about 4 days ago and was surprised to find him at 200!
So I tested him later that day and continued testing and his numbers have been in the range of 138-245. I took him to the vet and he said that unless he steadily climbs he does not need insulin. He checked his teeth and did a physical exam and he seems healthy. He acts normal and has gained 1/2 lb. since last year. There has been no peeing outside the litter box. So what do you think? Any advice is much appreciated.
