How often do cats pee?

So - we bought the strips and decided we WOULD test for ketones today. Well, I guess Hershey (being just like our 3 beans) wants us to know who's in charge. We thoroughly cleaned the litterbox late morning and as of now (5:50pm) there has been NO litterbox activity.

Is that normal?

I've been doing searches and I can't really find a reliable site to answer my question. Y'all are so smart, I thought I'd ask here.

There is not one answer. I have had some cats that only urinated twice daily and others more often.

Whenever you're NOT trying to test for ketones.... ;-)

Actually KT goes about the same time each morning and evening so it's easy to get him to pee on da stick...Snow's a social pee-er (lb in bathroom), he pees on da stick every couple of weeks.
