How much increase to compensate for 14%??

I'm now getting KT to eat ONE THING - 14% Ocean whitefish/Tuna shreds in gravy. How much of an increase in insulin do I need to make? I increased .25u this morning but I'm not sure that's enough....how do I do this?

There's no formula. Just stick with the protocol. Hold the dose for 3 days to evaluate whether it's working the way you want. If not, increase until the numbers are in the desired range.

Even tho' I know his carb intake has more than doubled yesterday and today, hold this for 2 more days? He's already sitting steady in the 200's. :sad: This will most likely continue thru this week - vet appt is Thurs AM. I should know then if it's his teeth or something else.. Dental will be scheduled then, HOPING it will be early next week.

You can raise the dose every 2 days but I'm concerned given your limitations with testing at night.
