Hi, I think I saw a post here somewhere but cant remember where about how to know if your cat is in/heading towards remission? I tried googling but found contradictory info so thought I'd ask the experts (you all)! What kind of numbers would you be seeing on a kitty heading in the right direction?

I don't have the link to that post, but my understanding is, if your cat stays in the dark green while on insulin, you eventually take them off, after some time of course, then if they stay in the dark green without insulin, or at least under 120 on a human meter, they are considered "non-diabetic". This is what I've gathered from what others have said to me. Hope that helps. :)

Once they start giving good numbers in the low blues and dark greens consistently on a small dose you are seeing positive signs that they might be headed that way. Myrtle is looking good but I won't jinx it by saying the "r" word! ;)
