How do you keep your Lantus stored?

Other than being kept refrigerated does anyone put it in anything? I was thinking about an airtight Tupperware container all to its self but wonder if that is OK? Just want to keep it as sterile as possible. As well as in good condition and safe.

When Max was still on Lantus, I did exactly that, in fact my remaining Lantus is still stored in a small tuperware container and I don't keep it in the door, I have the container sitting on one of the upper shelves, so it doesn't get too cold or too warm.
