Hello. This is Lesley Dewar and my two cats are Splinter (newly diagnosed) and Sophie (civvie)
I have edited my profile
I want to set up a spreadsheet for when we start testing - on Wednesday of this week.
I need a link to the spreadsheet for Australians, as well.
Thank you. I have never used a message board like this before.

Here is some Aussie information INFORMATION FOR Aussie caregivers. I need to update some of the information but most is correct
To change your signature go to your user name up in the top right of the page….click on user name then click on signature, make the changes and then save.
With the spreadsheet you need to use the world spreadsheet and it will automatically do the changeover to the US numbers automatically . You have the world one set up a sell, so use that one and it will do the changes for you to the US SS.

Thank you. I got the editing done, I think. I have created a spreadsheet and used the world one. I have done the publishing, but not added any data yet because we haven't started testing. We start on Wed 9am
Can you please have a look and see if I have done it correctly. Thank you.

Plus, I can't see how to edit the spreadsheet? I have never used Google docs before, only Excel or Lotus 123
 
HOW TO USE THE SPREADSHEET

You have two beautiful kitties there. Which one is Splinter?
Are you using a Syringe to give the insulin?
And what dose has the vet said to start with?

For your signature there is no need to put in the full vet check and date..but I would put in the date diagnosed with diabetes, type of insulin, type of meter, what food you are feeding, any other health issues and I would put Australia so we can see where you live for local information.

Do you mean how to write on it? If so I found this posted by another member trying to answer that question for someone

Are you are trying to edit your spreadsheet by clicking on the link in one of your posts? If so, I would try to open the spreadsheet from your Google Drive and see if it works that way. If it does, then just bookmark the spreadsheet from your Google Drive. I suspect that if you are opening the SS from one of your posts, it's treating you just like anyone else who opens your SS and won't let you edit anymore than it would let me edit your SS.

Hi Bron I was looking at the type of insulin Lesley is using Ominsulin?
I have never heard of it , when I Google the name it comes up as


Huminsulin 30/70 100IU/ml Cartridge 3ml is a combination of two medicines, an intermediate-acting and a short-acting type of insulin. It is used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus (type 1 and 2) to improve blood sugar control both in adults and children. It helps maintain the blood sugar levels in diabetic patients.

Is this like caninsulin?

This is TOTALLY doing my head in.
I found my way to Google Docs.

Finally found my Splinter and Sophie spreadsheet - but I couldn't put anything into it.
Found the ORIGINAL VIEW ONLY sheet.
Again.
I have it in view as Splinter Ominsulin Nov2023
BUT I cannot enter any data.
 
The cat is great. The spreadsheet is doing my head in!!!
I had a lot of abuse in Facebook messages this morning, nothing to do with this, and I am totally rattled.
 
I have deleted both the Google spreadsheets that got created under Splinter Ominsulin 2022
I will delete the spreadsheet that got created under Splinter and Sophie and hopefully I can start from scratch and get this system working.
I spent hours and hours yesterday getting the monitor set up and linked to my phone.

My problem is that I cannot work out how to add any data to it. It has a padlock at the beginning of the file name.

I’m so sorry you are having so much trouble with the SS. Yes I can see it ok. I’ll tag @Bandit's Mom to check you have everything sorted with the SS
