Homemade "cooked" cat food recipes

Hi everyone
I'm playing the "what will you eat more than 2 bites of" game with Calypso (17) these days. I currently rotate wellness, merrick, tikicat, solid gold. I've looked into the raw diet and my local pet food store even carries a few brands, I plan to go that route with any future cats. Unfortunately after reading up on it, it seems that Raw is not the way to go with kitties on Chemo. (She has Chronic Lymphocytic leukemia and is on chlorambucil and pred for the rest of her life). So I'm trying to see if there is a cooked diet that I could add to the mix of other canned. I obviously want her to eat quality food, but getting/keeping weight on her is important also, so I've even gone to leaving out EVO dry at all times because she seems to graze on that even when other food is available.
I do think she is still mourning the loss of Korbel, but seems to be slowly getting back to her normal routine.
Thanks

It is not an answer to your question but got me so surprised since my Gustav also have cancer, and why is Raw not the way to go with kitties on Chemo?

aha, I see

"Who Should Not Use Raw Diets?
I recommend avoiding raw meat based diets for cats that are on immunosuppressive medications like chemotherapy drugs, or higher doses of cortisone-type drugs like prednisolone. I also recommend that if anyone in the cat’s household has a weakened immune system (HIV/AIDS, chemotherapy, immunosuppressive drugs, etc.) extra caution should be used or raw diets completely avoided. In these instances a homemade cooked diet would be an excellent substitute."

I've never cooked the raw beef for them, but was going to with the hare, poultry but never got around to it. I however cooked the reindeer - in the microwave oven - and served when cooled

I have supplements as powdered bone meal, powdered vitamins and minerals, which I blend in the raw grinded beef, and then freeze it.

But I guess I would do try this if cooking the meats at first

1.use lots of water to boil in (makes good broth later for low carb gravy made with gelatine)
2. after boiling frying up in frying pan with lots of butter (gives extra fat and can be mixed in the broth for gravy
3. mince the meat in small pieces
4. add the supplements
5. whip up the gravy and put the gelatine in, and then pour it over the minced meat, and let it thicken

that's almost like the cat food in the stores --- but the question is would the cats eat it ...

sorry of can't be of more help

Try this one: http://tcfeline.com/2010/08/16/can-i-feed-my-cat-cooked-meat/ It says that's only intended as a short term diet to transiton cats to raw but I don't think it will cause any long-term problems if fed with canned food. That particular recipie uses the TC Feline pre-mix and there is info there on how to buy it. I've fed the cooked recipie as treats before  My cat loved it, especially the broth. I froze the food into small 2oz cups and took one out every once in awhile to give as a treat.

Thanks
I'll try the TCfeline mix and see how she likes it!
Dr Lisa does mention them on her site and she recommends a partial baking for immunosuppressed cats.
