Hi!
I have home tested my kitty about 5-6 times over the last week for the first time.
Two questions:
1) My kitty's ear is a bit red/looking a little dark like a bruise - is that normal in the beginning until they get used to it? I feel bad... I guess that is normal in the beginning.
2) Tested kitty last night before dinner (330) then 3 hours after dinner (285). Is that a good sign the level went down after dinner?
I am having a friend who is a vet tech come over in the next few days to teach me how to use the insulin to get that started, but I have been getting Nacho in the swing of home testing. He growls a little sometimes but it seeming to love the treats before and after!
