My cat is a pain to look after because he has diabetes and food allergies. We are going away next month and have to leave him in a cattery for 3 1/2 weeks. I have to provide his food coz he can't eat what a regular cat eats. I'd like to make up cooked meals while I'm away coz they would be easier to divide into freezer portions. Has anyone had any success making cooked food for their cat? I was thinking venison, rabbit or chicken slow cooked in some water then what can I add to give flavour and nourishment? What ingredients could I use that would be healthy and tasty to ensure my cat would eat it each time? The raw ground rabbit goes off quite quickly and I always give him fresh raw chicken when he won't eat the rabbit - but a cattery isn't going to fuss the way I do! I thought a complete cook preparation would suit best while I'm away. Any ideas?
