? Higher number in the Day opposed to Night reading

So Pooka has been on Prozinc for a little under a month. I noticed her numbers were staying flat so I got advice to increase by . 25 then I increased to 1.5 units. Last night was the first night I gave her the increased 1.5 dose and after 1 hour her BG dropped by almost 100 and at the 4 hour mark it was down 50%!!! This morning is not the same. I got a rare chance to monitor her morning numbers every few hours and I am not seeing that big of a jump like I did last night. What is going on? Is this normal?

Also, Should I be concerned her Preshot readings are so high? 300ish is kind of high. right?

Also, I have started her on Doctor Best B12 for her neuropathy could this cause her numbers to be off?

I used the Doctors Best B12 and it did not affect my cats bg’s. As for the rest, some cats do seem to run lower at night, or Pooka May be bouncing from the lower than usual number. If you can, post on the prozinc forum, the folks there will be better able to help you with dosing and understanding how prozinc works. You haven’t been at this very long, and I think you are doing a great job. It takes time to get those numbers under control!
