High readings 2+ days after increase

Hi - My vet told me to increase my cats dose of Lantus from 1.0 to 1.5. after reviewing his charts for two weeks. I made the first increase the evening of 5.3 (two nights ago). His numbers dropped the next day and I was optimistic but now seem to be high again.

Can someone take a look and let me know if this is the somogyi effect or if it takes a few days to acclimate?

Poor guy seems very hungry no matter how much I feed him which I suspect to be related to high numbers.

He does not have Ketones (checked today).

It looks like he is bouncing from the blue BGs which he is not used to. He is not used to the lower more normal numbers any more. Keep following SLGS. And test daily for ketones while the BG are high.
