Buddy has high flats with no lows -am i right in thinking I need to increase, that this is not a case of rebound? Thanks!

Probably. But go up slowly. If you can measure 1.2U, try that, instead of hitting 1.25U just yet.

Also, I hope we can help you when you have to do shots earlier than +12. You really need to lower dose some when you have to shoot early. Shooting early is the same as a dose increase, so by lowering the dose a bit (about 12-15%) you prevent the dose from dropping BG too low.

Buddy may just need slow dose increases until his system gets more comfortable with lower numbers. It's like he's constantly fighting those good numbers. His liver is confused!

Oh, I posted in your last thread:

Marci, I wonder if you didn't reduce enough and/or didn't hold the lower dose long enough. Buddy's numbers remind me of when I was searching around for Beau's best dose and one dose (.5u) was clearly too high and the next loser dose (.4u) seemed like it wasn't enough. It turned out he need even less and when I reduce again (to .3u) I started seeing better numbers. But I bounced back and forth for a while before trying another reduction.

I wonder if .8u or .9u might show you a better numbers. Maybe even .75u.

I'm just not sure that raising is the answer. It hasn't worked in the past - I mean it gets you the lows, but also caused high PSs.

yes true- this is def. not the dose...i reduced from 1.20u which seemed to be his last good dose, to a fat1 --hope for the best for this poor guy.i really dont think .75 i s enough for him, but if this doesnt work i will try it. thanks Sheila.
