high dose peeps, question

I am shooting Baytril into fractious CRF kitty with bladder infection. She requires 0.15 cc/ml which is equal to 15 units in a U100 insulin syringe.

I was wondering if you high dose peeps use the 30 ish gauge needle, U100 syringe for giving that much insulin or if it is better to go with like a 25 gauge needle in a 10cc syringe?

This kitty is rough to handle and I have always used the 25 gauge and another person to hold her, but I was thinking with a 30 gauge she may not be as jumpy and I could shoot her without bothering neighbor to come risk his life and limbs by her royal nastiness's claws!

The mega-high dose peeps still use 30 or 31 ga needles for comfort.

some have to go up to 50 unit syringes instead of 30 unit max but you can still get the tinier needles.
