Hi everyone. This is my 1st time on this forum. My cat Derby was diagnosed about a month ago. She is on Prozinc insulin. 2 units twice a day. I bought an alphatrak2 monitor. I checked it last night. It was 425 before insulin shot. This morning it was 406. She is currently on Hills W/D dry food. I’m concerned about her numbers. What is the best canned food for her to eat?

Most of us feed fancy feast classic or Friskies pate foods. Hills dry is too high in carbs for diabetic cats despite being marketed for them.

Here's a food chart. Choose foods under 10 percent carb (under 7 is even better).
