Tried backing Hershey off 1u (eyeballing .75) because some nadir so low, but now he's running higher, so wondering if we should go back to the 1u. Problem is, this weekend, we can't monitor him as closely. So, is it better for me to run higher until the first of the week instead of risking him dropping too low and us not catching it? Have u100 syringes on the way, probably be here by the Tuesday and will be able to more accurately increase in smaller increments.

Thanks!!

The "old" saying is...."Better high for a day, than low for a minute!"

The biggest danger in giving insulin is in overdosing and creating a hypo situation. If you think you are in danger of giving too much insulin, and not being available to monitor it---there is no doubt, that you should underdose, even if your numbers run higher.

me three...but one curve doesnt always mean everything
I would try to get some more numbers onn the .75 before going back up
sometime they need to settle into a dose
