Our kitties are conspiring to drive us crazy! I ended up going out for the afternoon and got paranoid so I gave her 2 Temptations treats. That may have been a mistake. Although I ended up an hour and a half late for her PM shot, so that may be the cause of the black.

A little over an hour late for PM shot again. I hate how my family doesn't understand how important consistency is for Hermione :mad:
 
I feel like a horrible cat mom. I slept through my alarms for Hermione's AM shot :( This is why I get so frustrated when my family makes me late, the deepest part of my sleep cycle is 5-7am. I'm a really deep sleeper and I'm pretty much dead to the world for those 2 hours.

I know it's just a blip in the data, but it still upsets me that they don't understand how important she is to me :banghead:

You've been around the block with this enough to know you'll get her back, Kimi. I certainly get how any interruption in a good run can mess these rubber kitties up. I've been through the wringer with Teasel since my fur shot on 11/18! :mad:

Thanks Kris! I'm assuming that was for me, although I see Steph is having trouble with Chuck too. You're so helpful to so many of us, I'm sure it gets hard to keep names straight ;) We're already back in pretty blue - I hope she doesn't bounce too high!

I gave her a tiny reduction, last time 1.6 wasn't quite enough but I'm not brave enough to keep at 1.8 when I might sleep through a crisis...

127 after 1hr stall!

I'm wondering if I should give her a tiny (.2u or so) dose? I don't want to get into another prolonged stall that will mess my schedule up too much. I'm home tonight to watch & test. Or I can feed her and wait, but that will push her back into my "dead zone" sleep area...

Not nearly as high as I feared! Although next time she's in the high blues for a PS I'll try a little higher dose as long as I'm able to monitor her.
 
88 for PMPS! Tested twice with AT strips.

I'm worried that she went really low while I was asleep, but she was in her usual spot curled up at my side when I woke up and has been acting completely normal since or I would have tested her two hours ago. Hermione is trying to drive me even more crazy! :p
 
108 after 40 minutes! I'm home tonight, should I give a small dose when she's in higher blues again? That seemed to work fairly well yesterday.

And I see Phoebe is playing the same game, way better to surprise with lower numbers than those awful highs!
 
122 after 40 more minutes. I'm really surprised how quickly she got back on track after I missed a shot!
 
155 after another 50 minutes. That's 2 1/2hrs from her normal shot time. I guess I should have fed her and waited 2hrs for the food spike to clear ;)
 
I decided to test her before I went to bed (since I was nodding off on the sofa) just to be safe. She's at 200, so I decided to give a little dose now instead of risking sleeping through her dose time in another hour and 45 minutes. This will also put me back almost on my ideal shot times - assuming she's shootable in 12 hours.

AMPS @ 200, 1u given

This way I avoid my "dead zone" of heaviest sleep ;)
 
Well, that didn't work like I'd hoped.

486 @ +6
517 for PMPS, 1.8u given

I wasn't comfortable giving her another mid-cycle dose at +6, so I just went back to sleep knowing she'd be sky high at her PMPS. :(
