I thought I would share this with everyone. I was looking for a good treat I could give Frisky after her blood sugar check each time. I found this at my local PetSmart last night.
It's called Beefeaters Salmon Freeze Dried. It was $6.49 for 2.0 oz with a PetSmart card(regular price is $6.99). Frisky is going nuts over it. Not cheap but very high in protein.
Sorry if someone had posted about this before but I had not seen it talked about. It looked like it is a new product.

Here is what the label says.
contain no artificial flavors, preservatives, or additives.
Ingredients: 100% freeze dried salmon.
Crude Protein not less than 75%
Crude Fat not less than 13%
Crude Fat not more than 15%
Crude Fiber not more than 1%
Mosture not more than 6%

I think I've only seen their Cod and Tucker didn't like it, but he LOVES salmon so I will keep an eye out for this. Right now to get his salmon treats I have to order them online, would love to find a local retailer for that.
Thank you.

I use their freeze dried chicken since I do not give any fish to my cats (due to a previous cat's and a current cat's urinary problems). It is magic! Because of the chicken, BG tests are almost voluntary now from my cat. He looks at me sometimes like - hey, i need my ear pricked so I can get some chicken. It is also great for giving pills to my other cat with urinary problems. He remembered the pill pockets from a year ago and would not even attempt to take his pill. Then i found the freeze driec chicken and he has not missed a pill yet! i put it in the pill pocket and roll it in crushed freezed dried chicken and even put a few chunks on the pill pocket. I give several small pieces of chicken before the pill pocket is given and follow with more. Works like a charm! Costs a lot but WELL worth it!
