Henry 9/3-9/7

Henry had has dental yesterday. He did well, vet said his teeth cleaned up beautifully. He was on one hungry kitty when he got home yesterday after being fasted since 10:00 pm the night before. He had no insulin the morning of dental per vet and a reduced dosage last night per vet. The place on his right side that was swollen then scabbed over with a large scab is almost gone now. Vet looked at and said it could be injection reaction where he had vacs or she thought it might have been a spider bite. Even though its healing, she wants him to have a few days of Cipro which I haven't picked up yet, probably will start tomorrow.

Hope his numbers adjust down. He is getting nice nadirs, Angela, but with those high preshots. I know we have discussed TID dosing, but you can't with your schedule, right? It looks like the insulin just doesn't last long enough for him.

Yes and I am still using up the ProZinc; I hope when I start the compounded PZI it will not have shorter duration.
TID would be very hard to pull off right now.

Hi Angela -

I know the Compounded PZI is probably easier to transition to, but I've seen better numbers with Gray on Lev - despite his insanely high doses because of the Insulin Resistance & ACRO. Other than today, our preshots have been staying pretty much in the 300-325 range. As opposed to the 450s on ProZinc. And we've seen blues and even greens - not often enough, but we've seen them - first time since FEBRUARY. So it might be a thought worth considering.
