Henry's numbers have been running about the same, some higher AMPS and flat days but I also discovered he has broken out in those little red bumps above the eye/ear area and a few inside left ear. He had these a few months ago and they were cultured and were bacterial infection but the vet thought they were some type of allergic reaction and then became infected with bacteria when he scratched at them. He also ran high and flat when he had this before. So I have been putting antibacterial ointment leftover from last time on them last 2 days and if vet thinks he needs a round of Cipro I have a refill. Still researching and thinking of possibly switching insulin, but I just bought a new vial of ProZinc right before Christmas. He will be going to vet towards the end of January unless I have to take him in for the bumps before then. He had a fairly good AMPS yesterday (Happy New Year prezzie?)

Ugg...poor Henry,
I hope he feels better soon so those darn numbers can come down!
If I were you I would keep researching other insulins just in case you decide to switch
you will be prepared
Have you checked out Thumpers SS....She is looking pretty good!
just something to think about
