Helps with pica?

Someone in one of my FB groups recommended these for cats with certain types of pica. General consensus of opinion, please? Are they safe for cats? I have a civvie with pica who eats everything, I have to watch her like a hawk 24-7!

I don't know either, but it's 100% lamb, so should be ok. I guess they chew on them instead of other things?

I think that's the idea. But what if they chew off chunks of the thing, would it be a choking hazard, do you think?

Maybe if they don't chew them enough. Does the person that recommended them use them? maybe check if they have them at Petsmart or someplace, you can see better the consistency of them, if they're hard or soft....

Yes, the girl who recommends them has just started using them.

It's an interesting idea. My friend gives dried pigs ears to her dog which is smaller than most of my cats, and he hasn't choked. Never thought about offering them to a cat.

Me, either, but if it works, I'll try it. I would try just about anything, watching her is a full-time job!

Usually pica stems from low iron. Does your cat have low iron? If so a better solution would be to take care of the source problem causing the behavior.
