Hi, I normally use AT2 but ran out of strips and shipment has not arrived, so I purchased a ReliOn Prime BG Monitor. According to reading it was 351, can anyone help me figure out what Frosty approximate BG is?
at high numbers like that, it really doesn't matter...it's too high
There's no direct "formula" to convert the AT numbers to human numbers other than 50 is the "time to act" number on a human meter.....On the AT, it's 68
At lower numbers the AT and human meters compare closer but the higher the number, the more they are going to vary
I did a side-by-side test with my vet's AT and my ReliOn: mine read 350, vet's read 430. But as the #'s get lower, the difference is less as Chris pointed out. There is no direct ratio.
