Help with Prozinc

Hi Everyone,,
I had some wonderful help from Sue and Olliver.Now I need some suggestions.'On what my next step should be..
Ive been trying to get my cat Angels numbers down for a week now without her going hypo.

I have increased her dosage of Prozinc from .25 to about .60 and she is still reading high..

should I keep her on the .60 or so.. maybe its .75 , hard to tell on such tiny syringes..

or up her dose tonight , Please give me your thoughts on this ..hopefully before 8:00pm nailbite_smile
 
You made it over here! This forum is much smaller than Health but friendly and we all have used ProZinc/PZI It is busier in the am and pm East Coast time. If you ever have an emergency, post in Health where there will be more eyes.

It might be helpful to open some of the threads and check out other people's spreadsheets.

Re the dose. My input would be to hold the .6 until tomorrow morning as it seems easier for you to get midcycle numbers in the daytime? Then increase to .8 if that is easy.

I am still wondering about your syringes. Usually people can only measure .6 using the conversion chart and U100 needles. Are yours U40? Do they have increments of 1/2 units? Are you eyeballing .6?

Thanks again, I dont know what I would do without your help. I feel a bit helpless right now.. anyway yes just eyballing it.. as close as I can with the numbers on the syringe. what type of u100 should I get? I have some u100 1cc , but the amount I am needing for Angel doesnt even register in the syringe..
