Hello,

unfortunately I’m no longer able to afford zobaline where I live, and it has been a life changer for my cat.

Do you know in Europe any other brand I can use?

Or if I can use this one from weightwolrd? It has other things like some bulking agents that I’m not sure if that’s ok to give to cats.

Thank you very much for any help!

Merry Christmas to all ❤️

I would check at health food stores or other places that supply vitamins. Check on Amazon. When I searched, there are a number of different options. Methycobalamin is a form of vitamin B12. You just want to be careful that you are ordering methylcobalamin (methyl-B12) and not cyanocobalamin. The methyl form is the activated form and is broken down far more easily once ingested.

Where are you located? We may have members who can suggest where to find methylcobalamin.

Every Methyl B-12 supplement contains some form of similar inactive ingredients so this is likely safe as well. Many of us use Vitacost brand methylcobalamin because it's much less expensive and according to the drop-down menu in the upper right corner, it appears they do ship to other countries including the UK. I like this brand because it comes in capsules that can be separated and the tasteless powder mixes easily into wet food, so much easier than pilling.

The recommended dose for cats is 3 - 5 mg (3,000 - 5,000 mcg) and the label you posted is only 1 mg so you'd need to give at least 3 tablets per day unless they offer a higher dosage.

@Catarina
I Just found this posted by one of our members
popular methyl B12 supplement in Europe is Dr's Best methycobalamin. It's available from a number of places online but Bodykind often have a good price (and UK postage may be free...)

The Dr's Best differs from the popular 'Zobaline' in two ways. Firstly, it is half the dosage, so you need to give 2 x Dr's Best to equal the B12 in one Zobaline tablet.
Secondly, the Zobaline contains a very small dose of folic acid that works synergystically with the B12. If you want to add this along with the Dr's Best B12 then Bodykind also do a liquid form (dropper) of folic acid, and I think one drop of this is very similar to the folic acid dose that's in Zobaline. :)

The rest is from me if you want to add the folic acid I just bought folic acid from my grocery store , or any pharmacy . I only found 400 mcg's of it so I cut it in half and crushed it up so it was 200 mcg like what's in the Zobaline. Looks like the ones I showed you are capsules so you can just open it up and add it to the wet food and add a little water

So you would have to give 2 capsules a day to equal 3000 mg

I liked and used the Vitacost brand also.
At least you get 100 capsules for 14.49 and just have to give one which is 5000 mcg
