I updated Miss Kitty's SS....I'm still having trouble getting her to eat anything. She seems to do better when she has Trader Joe's Tuna for Cats on top of her food. I have tried parm. cheese and FortiFlora, neither of which she wants anything to do with. She really likes the Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers, but it causes her BG reading to be too high. Is it ok to keep putting the Trader Joes cat tuna on top of her food? I bought some new flavors of Friskies to try, but I need to go back to TJ tomorrow to get some more tuna.

Have you tried gradually phasing out the gravy lovers by initially mixing it with the other, low carb foods?

Yes, we've tried that....she looks at me like I'm trying to poison her when I mix it. ohmygod_smile
I just adopted Dillon, from DCIN, and he came with Stella & Chewy's Chicken Dinner. My husband took a chunk to her, (we can't spare a lot because he might run out before the new order comes in) and she ate that, so I'm going to try that as soon as my order comes in-hopefully we've found a solution! nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile confused_cat

Jennifer, DCIN is finding that a couple of its foster cats are really liking the Stella and Chewy's. It's pricey, but cats have to eat. I haven't used it myself (perhaps I should), but I suspect that serving it reconstituted will be better for cats because that way it would be hydrating.
