Rebecca mentioned walmart in her post. Anyone see the walmart link in the affiliates page? Heck, I can just order my test strips that way rather than pick them up in store every couple weeks :-)
 
The Walmart Link is on the main page of the group you're looking at.
However, I don't see anywhere on the Walmart site link to specify FDMB. Any help?

The way an affiliate link works is that it's not your typical web link (example Walmart.com). It's a special tracking link that is linked to whatever account Rebecca set up when she chose the company to be an affiiliate store. When you use one of the store links on the FDMB Shop page and make a purchase, the company can track back who the commission goes to and then gives the money.

For some reason Walmart isn't listed on the FDMB Shop page. It is at the top of the FDMB boards, between the Shop icon and the Hometesting kit icon, and ONLY when you are not logged in confused_cat

To see all the links, you need to use INTERNET EXPLORER.

I usually use Firefox and Chrome, and I could NOT see about half the links in either of those.

I don't know - I can't see any of the ad links (WalMart, ADW, Amazon, and Wag) at the top of the boards using either IE or FireFox (on three computers) unless I am logged off of FDMB :roll: If you don't see ad links to affilate stores at the top of the boards, try logging off. The Shop page lists these stores plus others except Walmart.
 
yeah i only use IE on all my computers and didn't see it. gonna try logging off and see if it appears

eta: holy cow. logged out and ta-da they appeared right at the top of the page. logged back in and they're gone

eta2: i may have figured it out. if i switch my "board style" in the control panel from subsilver to prosilver, they appear at the top of the page. switch back to subsilver, and they disappear
 
You must be using the PROSILVER template (see your UCP) to see ads on the FDMB. I will add them to the other 2 template options, too.

I used both Firefox & IE.

You can always go to the shopping affiliates page by linking from the FelineDiabetes.com homepage (lower right) or using this link:
http://www.felinediabetes.com/pet-supplies.htm#affiliate The FDMB template you use makes no difference for the regular website content.

Have your friends and family use the FDMB affiliate links for their holiday shopping, too :thumbup FDMB has helped many cats over the years. Let's help FDMB continue to help cats for many more years to come dancing_cat

Amazon.com sells MP3 songs and albums for your iPod and other music players and apps for smartphones/tablets/etc :smile: Many cost less there than at iTunes, Google Play, etc so check it out and help FDMB out at the same time :thumbup
