Sorry, I am on my droid and do not have amps # with me, I am very nervous about leaving my wonderful kitty, Putter, tonight as I won't be home to give his pm dose until about 3 hours late, my pet sitter fell through, our friends are so afraid to give an injection so I can't trust them and my cat will hide anyway if someone comes through the front door, he always has. He is not regulated all that well and we will find out next week if he has cushings (agggghhhh!!!). He is doing quite well despite his high #'s, he is active, eating well and not pu/pd. I am so afraid to leave but it is required that I go and cannot possibly make it back until late. If I had my way I would not go.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for Putter too.

I think you may have to skip the shot if that is what you are asking.
We don't usually suggest you shoot much more than 2 hours past your regular time. Things happen that we have no control of sometimes.

Put it in a different context - we've all accidentally given a fur shot. It's a missed dose. My catsitter overslept once and I had her skip the shot. It happens. You'll have to weigh whether it makes sense to give a late shot or not. The biggest issue is that tomorrow morning, you will need to shoot 12 hours from whatever time you shoot tonight. You can shift your shot time back by no more than 30 min. per day unless Putter's numbers are very high (and then you can only adjust an hour). For most of us, 3 hours is hard to deal with in terms of our schedules.

It's not the end of the world.

If you're getting Putter tested for Cushings, has acromegaly and IAA already been ruled out?

Like Miriam mentioned, a skipped shot would be the best and you can just treat it like a fur shot!
Fur shots happen to lots of us, so just call it a fur shot and give the usual am shot.
You'll just have the shed to fill a bit, but otherwise you should be OK.

Please let us know how the results turn out for Cushings; there are others who can offer some help if the test is positive.
