HELP! Newbie on health - 2.5 units starting dose..?

Newbie on 'Health' told to start out with 2.5 units Lantus.... I don't use Lantus but that seems kinda high...? Can anyone advise please?

Looks like this evening will be her first shot. I suggested that 2.5u is a high dose to start...

Looks like she's seen some improvement already from switching to low carb food.

Can somebody else chime in?
