Help needed in Halifax, NS

A new member is in need of prompt vet care for her cats. She just moved to Halifax recently. She is in need of a vet in her area. She is also concerned if it will cost more to get her cats into the ER.

She doesn't have internet set up yet and access here via phone has been difficult for her.

Unfortunately in Canada this is also a long weekend and I don't know if any vets would still be open at this time. In Halifax it would be around 8 PM or so at the time I am posting, so she may have to go to an emergency vet which will definitely cost more. Most vets will not be open on Monday because of the holiday as well. :(
 
In Winnipeg Manitoba where I am an visit to the emergency vet costs about an extra $65 over the usual $65 office visit charge, so about double. The treatment should not cost more if Halifax works the same as Winnipeg. Hope this helps a bit.
