? Help Needed - Can you give Benazepril and Ondansetron at Same Time?

Hi all,

Today has been really a mess. Saoirse hasn't had her meds at the normal times and I need to catch up.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to give benazepril (ACE inhibitor) and ondansetron at the same time?

Thank you for the much-needed hugs, Jan!

I bit the bullet and gave both meds. Her nibs needs to eat so the ondansetron had to be given (didn't get any this morning ) and her BP needs to come down. It's only a small dose of the benazepril so fingers and paws crossed all will be OK.

How is Radar doing, and how are you keeping in yourself?

Thanks for the hugs. I'm doing pretty well in part because Radar is eating without coaxing and his behavior suggests that he feels pretty well - there was an exuberant game of ping pong ball batting in the kitchen recently. And after a dose increase I finally feel like we're getting somewhere with his numbers finally coming down.

I know you'll be watching your sweet furry one to make sure that she's ok with two meds on board. Sending positive thoughts and more across the miles to you both.

Oh, how I can relate to how much of a difference it makes when our little ones eat without coaxing! It's good to know you're getting a boost, too. I'm very glad to hear this, and also that Radar has been playing!!

I've kept an eye on her and she has been OK. She's parked on the sofa beside me purring at the moment (rocks my world when she's relaxed and contented!). I've just now been able to give her her dose of bupe for her sore mouth. She's having a dental on Friday ...

So glad to see that she is being her purry self. I know how much peace that gives you when she is feeling good. I will be sending tons and tons of positive energy to prepare her (and you) for her dental.

My kids are doing ok, thanks for asking. They takes turns dropping into low numbers just so I can't ever plan on getting to bed at a good time. Maxie did her nose dive 2 days ago and tonight is Tuxie's turn I swear they sit around and conspire to drive me crazy!!!
