Help needed ASAP Tipsy Lantus/Glargine 1.5U Going away dosing help!

I’m at a loss with what to do with Tipsy’s insulin injections tomorrow night and Sunday morning. I’m going to be staying in a hotel over an hour from home tomorrow for my brother’s birthday. I don’t have anyone who can come to my house and administer his insulin injections for the PM and AM injections nor can I put him in boarding because he isn’t up to date with his vaccinations due to only having worked 4 months this year I didn’t have the money to pay for vaccinations.

What should I do? Can I give him a half dose of his Lantus in the afternoon before I leave for the hotel? Or is it best for him to just skip those two doses?

No we will be leaving home hours before his shot time. The start time for the party is 7.30pm and Tipsy’s shot time is 8pm. We need to leave home in the afternoon in order to check in to the hotel and then make our way to my brother’s house. He lives over an hour from our house.

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately not. Here in Australia the only animals allowed in hotels are Guide Dogs or Assistance animals and even then some hotels will try to refuse. I can’t take Tipsy to my brothers house either because threats where the party is and the noise and people will stress Tipsy out.

Thank you for the replies. I’ve just left home at 3.20pm. I ended up freezing two cans of Famcy Feast pates together with a fan full of water and have left it out for Tipsy to eat plus a big bowl of Ziwipeak air dried chicken.
