Dexter has been on a fairly regular schedule with two units of Vetsulin twice a day. Hey is eating a raw diet with two full meals and he gets either a snack of fancy feast classic 1/4 to 1/2 can, 1/2 tbsp of zero YA dry, or FD chicken.
I've been under the weather and asleep most of the day but woke up enough to give him about a half a can of fancy feast a few hours ago. No blood work this morning. His blood work last night was kind of high but I think I missshot his am insulin. (Wet fur)
He's been in the window so I was able to test him and his sugar was 310 about 20 minutes ago.. he is eating his full portion of Darwin's raw right now. With his number only being 310 and skipping his morning insulin. Should I record this as his a.m. information on the sheet?
Concerning his insulin. 310 is a pretty good number for him with no insulin since last night.
Should I go ahead and give him his 2 units of insulin 30 minutes after he eats or maybe only give him one unit?
Depending on that answer what do I do this evening say around 9:00 p.m. based on numbers of course.
