One of my cat's came down with extremely congested nose and eyes with a lot of crude on the outside near the tip of the inner part of her eyes and her head and neck are swollen twice the normal size. After the Vet administered steroids the nose cleared up and the eyes cleared up somewhat but her head and neck are still swollen. The Vet thinks it might be a tumor in the neck but is not certain. Any thoughts?

Infection may cause lymph node swelling and it can take some time to resolve.
Allergy, which may respond to prednisone, may cause swelling.
Autoimmune disease in humans may cause lymph node swelling (been there, treating that myself); may or may not happen in cats.
How is her breathing? Rapid/slow? Easy/labored?

I'd agree with @BJM and would wait a little bit to see if the swelling goes down on its own if, of course, your cat is not having any other problematic symptoms. I've had lymph nodes pop out on the back of my neck even from things as simple as a sinus infection. I hope your kitty feels better soon.

Possibly, salivary glands swelling! Some years ago, had a boss whose face and neck started swelling at lunch time while we were eating. Some food got into his salivary glands and caused it. Don't know if the same applies to kitties. Sorry, do not remember what the treatment involved.
Best wishes,

Her breathing is raspy. When I give her prednisone it clears up.

Thanks she has had some breathing issues. Swollen eyes and her tongue was bluish but I gave her prednisone and all that went away now she just has the swollen face.

Ok tx

The fast symptom resolution for the breathing definitely points to allergy issues.
It is possible, though, that more than 1 thing is a problem, so if the swelling doesn't go down with regular steroid treatment, investigate further.

Thanks everyone you guys are awesome. Chica is doing good it was her sister Tabitha who has the swollen face and neck. I am giving her some immune and trace mineral supplements and giving it a week to see if she improves. Once again thanks everyone.
