Great call, Annie! He does not need honey at that number unless its really early in the cycle and he's dropping fast.
Usually two tsp of LC is a good choice as soon as he comes into green
after onset. Gosh..I can't remember if it was you or Sarah that I gave info on numbers and feeding. So forgive me if I already told you :roll:
You want to look at where you get the number in the cycle. Let's say you shoot a 100 and at +2, he's in the 50s. I'd probably give some higher crb food/gravy to slow him down. But if you get a 50s number at +3 or +4 that is not a dive, just try a couple tsp of LC. If you get a 50s late in the cycle (e.g. +8), I'd probably not feed and recheck in 30 mins to see if he's coming up on his own. So think about the numbers in terms of where they are in the cycle and how fast he dropping.
I'd test him at +6. He's up and so I wouldn't retest at +5.5. I'll check in on you
