HELP! 1/24 Moo. Amps 202, +6=136, +11=216, PMPS 206 +4.5=74

I know this +4.5 of 74 is a good number.... but its only at +4.5
Do I need to feed and test again in 30 mins? I was just going to head to bed :(

Saw your Help--ou can control this drop with food just like you did the other time when Moo dropped into the 50s on your SS,I saw you gave him honey? That was fine..Always remember You are in control, you have food, you have honey or karo, you have strips, & you are all set--How many times I was ready for bed & Moonie dropped on me too!! But 74 is a nice number & Moo's nadir could be soon--
You are doing a fine job--BTW I call Moonie Moo very often..Take a breath you are doing well

I think I am going to hold off on the honey... he just went up to 85 at +5....
So I'm going to give him his evening snack a little bit anyway... and check him at 5.5 if he's still heading up, I think we'll be ok! :)

Saw your post in health. Maybe try some a little low carb right now and test in another 30 to make sure he is still going up?

Great call, Annie! He does not need honey at that number unless its really early in the cycle and he's dropping fast.

Usually two tsp of LC is a good choice as soon as he comes into green after onset. Gosh..I can't remember if it was you or Sarah that I gave info on numbers and feeding. So forgive me if I already told you :roll:

You want to look at where you get the number in the cycle. Let's say you shoot a 100 and at +2, he's in the 50s. I'd probably give some higher crb food/gravy to slow him down. But if you get a 50s number at +3 or +4 that is not a dive, just try a couple tsp of LC. If you get a 50s late in the cycle (e.g. +8), I'd probably not feed and recheck in 30 mins to see if he's coming up on his own. So think about the numbers in terms of where they are in the cycle and how fast he dropping.

I'd test him at +6. He's up and so I wouldn't retest at +5.5. I'll check in on you :-D

I did not get those numbers from you, but that is a good way of putting it, and I totally understand what you're saying.

I'll post back about 1230, which is 45 mins.

Another question then while I'm waiting for that...
I am scheduled in 6.25 hrs for his morning shot...
What # do you think would be safe at to shoot seeing his current numbers?
He went from 200 tonight to 80's in just 4 hrs....

TOmorrow I work so I will be home for lunch to check him but not until his +6.5

I havent been shooting below 150 as of now, as you know...

Can you post a +11.5 number? Dyana is usually on early.

He looks like he's breaking a bounce tonight and they often go lower when they are clearing.

If no one is around you can choose to not shoot below 130 if you wish but be prepared for numbers to go up.

I think you hinted at some of this numbers info with me, and it makes a lot of sense. Helpful to have it written out so clearly. We're learning. And way to go, Annie!
