I'm about to foster a diabetic 15 year old cat with IBD; currently on Hills z/d (which has been discontinued for an unknown amount of time). His owner died, and we don't know how or why he was diagnosed with IBD, just that he was taking prednisone for it. He'll have to be transitioned to a new food and I'm wondering about making homemade (probably not raw, IBD). I'm eager to learn everything you have to teach me!
