my wonderful furry eddie we found out has diabets and we are giving him injections of insulin and i am still learn about taking care of him. can some one please clearify if i am suppose to feed him before i give him his shot and if so do i test him again and how long after he eats should i give it to him or do i give him his shot first. i am so confused i could really use so advise some those that have been were i am. any and all help will be very much appraicated ands thank you in advance.

Whether he needs to eat before the shot depends on the insulin you are using. What kind?
