My cat, Maunz, is 15 years old (will be 16 on May 23) and was diagnosed with diabetes in 2009. Until recently his diabetes was regulated, but in the last few months, he has been producing his own insulin intermittently
(according to the vet). I have to test his glucose levels every time before I inject him, because I am afraid that I will overdose him.

He's lucky that you test! Welcome

Welcome to the forum. And thank your vet for the valuable advice. Home testing is a life saver.

You may want to look at the Main Health subforum. I encourage you to also use the search bar. A lot of topics are common and have already been discussed (multiple times).
